AIF is founded by lic. jur. & ec. Geert Everaert. Mr. Everaert served as European CFO and pension-fund manager of Tenneco Monroe for more than 10 years, before joining the management team of Krypton. At Krypton he was board member, CFO and operationally responsible for the US market. Mr. Everaert successfully realised the exit for the Krypton shareholders in the form of a trade sale of the company.

Dr.ir. Alex Van den Bossche is the co-founder and technology manager for AIF. Dr. Van den Bossche has done research work in the field of medical implantable devices, microelectronic circuitry, nano-technology, sensor system development and in industrial optical metrology. Dr. Van den Bossche co-founded Krypton, a KULeuven high-tech spin-off company and served as managing director for 15 years until the successfull trade sale of the company.
